Every year on the second Thursday of October, World Vision Day is held to draw the world’s attention to the problems of blindness, visual impairment, and the rehabilitation of people with visual impairments.

According to the World Health Organization, there are about 37 million blind people and 124 million people with impaired vision in the world. In Uzbekistan, according to independent sources, every second resident has some kind of visual impairment.

Within the framework of World Sight Day, the Association of Ophthalmologists of Uzbekistan, together with the Innovative Clinic of Doctor Maksudova, held a charity action “Look to everyone” – free eye diagnostics for students of school №225 in Tashkent city. …
