On February 10, 2022, within the framework of cooperation between AORU and the Royal Society of Medicine of Great Britain (RSM), the ophthalmologists of the association took part in an online seminar:

“Paediatric ophthalmology: Updates in globally significant ophthalmic disorders and vision therapy”.

The event is aimed at practicing ophthalmologists and pediatric ophthalmologists.

The participants listened to the following presentations:

▫️ Paediatric cataract: What has gone before and what does the future hold?

▫️ Myopia epidemic in a pandemic – any panacea?

▫️ The far-reaching impact of amblyopia beyond vision.

▫️ Behavioural optometry and colored glasses: Why?

In the future, it is planned to attract more Uzbek specialists to conferences held by the KMO on a monthly basis.
