We invite you to participate in the international scientific-practical ophthalmological conference

“Innovative technologies in ophthalmology – 2024”.

The aim of the conference is to get acquainted with modern innovative methods of diagnostics and treatment of patients with eye diseases and to introduce them into the scientific and practical activity of ophthalmologists. The conference is intended for ophthalmologists, faculties of ophthalmological departments of medical universities of near and far abroad, postgraduate students, residents and clinical interns, optometric nurses.

Main topics:

• Pathology of anterior segment;
• Refractive disorders;
• Glaucoma: yesterday, today and tomorrow;
• Pediatric ophthalmopathology;
• Innovative methods of diagnostics and treatment in ophthalmology.

Terms and order of participation in the conference:

Registration of participants is carried out on the website of the Association
of Ophthalmologists of Uzbekistan www.aoru.uz in the section “Conferences” from February 10 until April 30, 2024. At the time of registration, the participant will have the opportunity to submit his/her own scientific printed works to be included in the Conference proceedings.

Detailed information on the conditions of acceptance and publication is provided in the Conference Rules.

There are several formats for participation:

– No paper, publication, or report.
– Oral presentation with a report (in this case, the participant must attach a presentation and an article (conference paper) that meet the requirements of Appendices No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 of the Conference Rules).
– Participation with an article without an oral report (in this case the participant shall attach an article in accordance with Appendix No. 1 of the Conference Rules).
– Participation with a conference paper without oral presentation (in this case the participant shall attach the paper in accordance with Appendix No. 2 of the Conference Rules).
– Oral presentation with an electronic poster report without submitting an article or a conference paper (in this case, the participant attaches the E-POSTER in accordance with Annex №3 of the Rules of the Conference).

The Organizing Committee of the Conference reserves the right to technical editing or rejection of the material on the grounds of non-compliance with the topics of the Conference or the rules of the Conference.

All types of materials for publications, presentations, reports should be submitted for review no later than April 26, 2024; materials sent after this date will not be reviewed.

The Conference proceedings will be published in a special issue of the “Advanced Ophthalmology” journal.
