On February 26, 2021, the 2nd All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation “Glaucoma Treatment: An Innovative Vector” will be held. The conference will take place online.
The organizer of the conference is FGAU “NMITs” MNTK “Eye Microsurgery” named after acad. S.N. Fedorov “of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
Chairman of the Organizing Committee: Deputy General Director for Organizational Work and Innovative Development of the Federal State Autonomous Institution “NMITs” MNTK “Eye Microsurgery” named after acad. S.N. Fedorov ”of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Professor Nazir Sagdullaevich Khodzhaev.
The main directions of the conference:
- Basic research on the pathogenesis of glaucoma;
- Algorithm of modern diagnostic methods with a high evidence base;
- Practical recommendations for choosing a rational therapy for glaucoma;
- Laser methods of glaucoma treatment, comparative analysis of effectiveness. The current stage of micropulse laser treatment of glaucoma;
- Minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, surgical technique for performing various minimally invasive antiglaucoma interventions;
- Review of the clinical and epidemiological profile of the regions of the Russian Federation for glaucoma;
- Organizational and methodological bases of clinical examination of patients with glaucoma.
The first scientific and practical conference “Glaucoma Treatment: An Innovative Vector”, held in February 2020, aroused great interest among a wide range of specialists, primarily due to the novelty and originality of the materials presented, the dynamism of their presentation. The conference found its own face and won a large audience. In 2021, the organizers plan to strengthen the vector of practical knowledge and recommendations for daily clinical work.
Within the framework of the conference, a virtual exhibition of sponsoring companies will take place with the possibility of placing videos, posters, presentations, video messages, electronic catalogs, etc. in virtual halls. The interactive exhibition was made using an original multimedia design in VR format with an immersive effect, which allows you to visit and inspect all the stands and exhibits of the exhibition using active navigation.
